Book I with sunfaded spine, some smudges on edges; plus 2 of the first pages are creased and crumpled. Book II in clean, bright, undamaged (Near Fine) condition. Translated from the Russian by Stephen Garry (revised and completed by Robert Daglish). Single page detailing Key to Principal Characters laid in. All books in full brown cloth covers w/author facsimile signature on front cover. All are solid and tight, but beginnings of spine crack, Volume 1 (Vol 1 condition="Good"). Vol 2 has rubberstamping inside back cover, otherwise interiors clean, bright and unmarked. Author photo on flypage, Vol 1. Each has its own purple ribbon bookmark.
