Very Good condition overall - crisp and quite clean. Edge and corner wear. Corner crease to upper right corner of front cover and other minor vertical creases to both covers with resulting vertical creases to interior pages (from old vertical fold).
Lower right corners slightly bent downward. Very slightly chipped spine ends. Rear cover torn away at staples, though covers still attached. Age toned with minor smudges, stains and a few barely dog-eared page corners. $695.00

Original spine back strip is missing. Some edge and corner wear to covers. Pages age toned but in very nice condition. Front and rear interior hinges are tape repaired. No notations, markings or highlighting anywhere in the book. $950.00

33 x 48" map folds into 4¼ x 6½" boards. Brown embossed cloth covers with gilt titles. Covers are still intact and in outstanding condition showing full gilt with only minimal wear to extremities.
Map still attached to back cover. No notations or pencil marks on map. Former owner name inscribed (Chas. Foster, Washington, Iowa).
Overall a very nice and rather clean specimen, though in very delicate condition with the following noted:
- 17" vertical tear from bottom of Crawford County through Emmett County and top margin.
- 3" vertical tear through Alamakee County and top margin.
- 2¼" vertical fold tear in right quarter of Clinton County
Approximately 6 x ¾" area missing along middle left outside border. Other small fold and edge tears. Age toned at folds. Tiny insect stains and minor foxing on back of map when folded. Paste down on inside front cover cracked.

Exceptionally clean and crisp pages with hardly a smudge to interior pages!
Former library copy with usual stamps, markings and lender pocket residue inside front cover. Clipped corner on front free endpaper (which is partially detached and torn.) Title page with old tape repair. Some pages with tears. A few dog-eared page corners noted. Outside page fore-edges smudged. Age toned, more notably to end-papers.
Bumped and worn covers with bowed front cover. Tape reinforced interior hinges inside covers. Spine ends bumped with lower end frayed. $395.00
