This is a limited edition of 1000 copies with the colophon on an extra printed leaf bound-in after the front free endpaper. The author wished to have profits from the sale of this edition intended for victims of a catastrophic eruption of volcano Nevada Ruiz in Colombia. Proof of his signature is authenticated with notary stamp on the colophon. Large octavo format with the type reset and pagination different from the popular or earlier trade edition. This limited edition being one of ten editions of El amor en los tiempos del cólera, by various publishers in Spain, Colombia, Argentina and Cuba, where GGM's original text was revised with corrections (by the author) in a new edition thus, and with no statement of revision.
Condition: Good plus/Good. Text clean, dj also unmarked, but somewhat worn. Bumped corners, a couple of short closed tears.
