seal that this volume is # 578 of an edition of 620. The recipient"s name,
Mrs. Herman F. Ruegnitz, (pictured P. 195) is gold stamped on front board.
Six hundred twenty society ladies' portraits each with a brief bio arranged
by geographical area.Text is tight and unmarked, lightly foxed. Traces of
glue or tape on final page of index. Endpapers in moire brown taffeta.
Boards, coverd in brown suede, have gold stamped title and a blind-stamped
floral device. Boards show light rubbing along edges. Spine is slightly
lighter. A solid, handsome volume. $295.00

Cutting. Text is clean, tight and unmarked, blue cloth boards with
gold-stamped drawing of a panda are "very good plus" with only a little

previous owner's name on title page on both volumes. Volume 1 map is
undamaged save for a closed tear where the map joins the binding. Bindings
are clean and undamaged with a little rubbing to corners and spine ends. In
extraordinarily good condition for their age. $815.00

"We're Not Married", and wrote projects for her that she ultimately never
made, such as "How to Be Very, Very Popular, and "Something's Got to Give")
dedication reads, "Dear Nunnally, Once more I give you my gratitude for a
helping hand. Pete" Johnson was quoted extensively in the book. Text is
