Hill, January 1, 1883 by the author. Considers water and railways. Chapters on seven specific regions. Fruit, bees, agricultural college, cattle and sheep. Covers have water damage, not affecting text. Two bookseller stamps from a long-ago Washington, D.C. shop. Did U.S. Sen. Nathaniel P. Hill sell it before he left Washington? $100.00

Cute, detailed drawings of ranch children engaged in happy activities. My favorite: a boy picking his nose in front of a disgusted girl. Titled "impressin' the girls."
